Environment Week celebrates Alberta's environment. It is a great time for Albertans to host and attend events that include some learning, some fun and some action. Action is doing something on purpose to lessen your impact on the environment. Celebrating and action projects are great ways to bring a community together towards a greener future.
Participating in local Environment Week events is a great way to discover easy things you can do for the environment. The choices you make - big and small - really do make a difference because your action counts!

Environmental Forum for Canmore's By-election
As you are aware, there is going to be a municipal by-election on June 19th for a new Mayor and two Town Councillors.
Bow Valley Clean Society (BVCAS) and Bow Corridor Organization for Responsible Development (BOWCOR) are jointly sponsoring an:
Environmental Forum
Date: June 5th
Time: 7:00 pm
Place: Creekside Seniors Hall - 600 - 9th Street, Canmore
This environmental forum will give the candidates an opportunity to voice their views on preset questions developed by BVCAS & BOWCOR on environmental stewardship, community values and sustainability as well as questions from the audience.
